PINEAPPLE PINK PITAYA SMOOTHIE

Pineapples = delicious, low in calories + loaded with nutrients + antioxidants.

Kick start your morning smoothie, with a bit of a vibrant twist from nature.

With pineapple being so versatile, I decided to make something vibrant by adding some delicious pink dragon fruit.

These smoothies are also great for those #postworkout options. It contains bromelain which provides anti-inflammatory properties, it may also aid recovery after strenuous exercise by reducing tissue inflammation.

Serv: 2 Pax

Ingredients:

1/2 Cup frozen pineapple

1/2 Cup fresh dragon fruit

1 Cup of coconut milk

2 Tbsp toasted coconut flakes from @cocobynuco

1/3 Cup coconut cream

4 Blocks of ice

Method:

Blend all the ingredients together, keeping 1/3 cup of the fresh dragon fruit separate.

Once the mixture is blended, pour the glasses until half way, with the rest of the mixture add the remaining dragon fruit to the mixture, blend again and you will have a final darker pink layer as the topping.

Finally sprinkle with your raw chocolate beans, coconut flakes @cocobynuco
