COCONUT VANILLA TURMERIC MAGNUM INSPIRED ICE-CREAMS

These anti-inflammatory ice-creams are not only easy to make, free from dairy, sugars and trans fats. But delicious and are friendly to our hormones.


The combination of using sunflower seed butter, with the hormone balancing seed mix not only nourishes the body with omega-3 fats. But the combo of sesame and sunflower seeds contain lignans and essential fatty acids that support the hormones that carry us through the luteal phase.


Lignans naturally regulate our body’s production of estrogen due to their phytoestrogens. They replace endogenous estrogens in a much purer and healthier form, thus helping to maintain weight, treat acne, balance hormones, and shift hormone metabolisms.


Always aim in having the seeds cold pressed, raw and avoid heating seeds, or seed butters.



COCONUT VANILLA TURMERIC MAGNUM INSPIRED ICE-CREAMS


Yield: 6 mini ice-creams


INGREDIENTS

1 Cup sunflower seed butter

1/2 Cup hormone balancing seed mix (hempseeds, chia seeds, sesame seeds)

1 Tbsp turmeric mix

3 Tbsp coconut yoghurt

1/3 Cup coconut milk

1/2 Cup Monk fruit syrup

1/2 Tsp vanilla extract

1 Serving of Nuzest Clean Lean Vanilla Protein (Optional)


INSTRUCTIONS


Add all the ingredients to your high speed blender, blend until smooth and pour into your desired ice-cream moulds. Allow to freeze for 2 hours before you add the dark chocolate coating.


Keep in the freezer for up to three weeks.
